The evangelical church
Adress: Jiráskovy sady
The evangelical church is a Neo-gothic building with a relief of Jesus Christ, and its design imitates the Nordic style of brick churches. The building was completed in 1902 and it was used by the German Evangelical Church of the Augsburg profession whose activities were banned in 1945 for its support of the Nazi regime. Today the church is used by the Baptist Union of the Czech Republic. It is commonly referred to as the Red Church.
