Jesuit Observatory

Another, best preserved section of the city fortification system with a battlement. In 1705, a lookout pavillion called "Lusthaus" or "the Jesuit Observatory" was built in the polygonal tower. The defensive pre-wall was demolished during the construction of a socialist community centre in the communist era and then rebuilt without respecting the original style, based on the project by architect P. Švancar.
