City Walls and Bastions

A segment of the well-preserved fortification system with polygonal towers that were originally opened inward on each floor. In the 19th century, some of these towers were adapted into residential houses in the Empire style. A complete renovation of the city walls took place in 1996, based on the project by architect Jarmila Antošová. Today there is a hand-made paper shop - opening hours: Mon-Fri.
