Fountains
Adress: Mírové nám?stí
Built on the place of the original fountains from 1541. The upper wooden fountain was built by Martin of Žitava; it was replaced by a Baroque stone fountain in 1715, featuring four dolphins whose open mouths serve as water spouts. A circular shell with waterworks is placed on their raised tail fins. The lower stone fountain was destroyed during the Thirty Years War and in the mid-19th century it was replaced by a replica of the upper fountain. Both fountains were restored by scupltor-restorer ?estmír Mudru?ka in 1994.
